Clergy

Rev Ian Chidlow

Associate Minister at St Cuthberts

Ian was born in Stockport and came to faith at 16 at a Christian convention in Keswick. Before pursuing ordained ministry, Ian went to the University of Sheffield, then worked for Mencap, a charity which supports people with learning disabilities.

It was around this time that Ian met and married Jodi, who works at the Upper Room Cafe in Cheadle. She is passionate about art, dogs of all shapes and sizes, and murder mystery books. Ian and Jodi have three children, a dog, a cat and two gerbils.

Ian loves seeing people's eyes light up when talking about Jesus, and helping people to discover new things about God. He spends his spare time being a punch bag / climbing frame for the children, playing guitar and listening to music (the heavier the better). He also enjoys online gaming with friends, and getting lost in Middle Earth.
